I have an equilibrium problem and when I do chores, it helps to have someone there to help me. I tell people about Family Resource. They are not lazy and they do a good job. Before this, I was alone and isolated. They're getting me to open up more.
It seems like I have had 40 of them. All of the different people make it hard for the caretakers and the patient. Having people with more training in Alzheimer's would be nice. It has taken quite a while to get some semblance of order.

When I am down and depressed, they encourage me to go out and go shopping. They make sure I have help when my regular caregiver is unable to fill their shift. They have made it positive by having friendly attitudes and doing what they deem necessary to help me. I like that the personal has been very kind, cooperative, and helpful. I have had good results from my Monday through Friday care, but I have sparse weekend care.
They have helped me handle things outside the home and free up my time. There is nothing I can complain about. The person knows exactly what I need.

For me it has helped me a lot because she keeps me busy. They take good care of their clients. The company has given me caregivers that know how to do their job. The company needs to follow through on what they said they are supposed to do.
I am handicapped, so I can't get in and help her with her shower like she needs. I really like the aide that my mom has because she is friendly, and I like the substitute that comes when our regular aide can't. It gives me time to do things that I wouldn't normally be doing. Things would be very difficult without him. Communication could be improved between the family and the office. She is reliable, punctual and very caring.

There are a few bad apples in the group. I can't do very much because I can't breathe, so they basically have to keep my house clean for me because I can't do it. They do my shopping and they take me to my appointments. They help me with my housework because I can't get it done.
She really does a good job to help me. I've already recommended them because I like the way she cleans. I'm used to having people take care of me.
The services have helped the most with keeping up house hold chores. Family Home Care has capable caregivers, and they are aware of what is going on. I don't have to argue with my father now that he has a caregiver. I wouldn't recommend Family Home Care. I'd tell others it's an option but not would I would tell them to pursue right away. I'd give Family Home Care a very negative score.
They make life easier by being here. They are thorough and do their work. They allowed me to stay fairly independent.

The impact varies from day-to-day depending on the client's mood. They are very polite and good caregivers. I can't go up and down the stairs anymore so they do the laundry for me, which is a big help. They know their business, my caregiver knows what she is doing.
They are just designed to help give me a night off because I am the 24/7 caregiver. It just got started and has gone kind of okay. The only problem we have had in the last two weeks they have had trouble getting someone in here.
The caregivers do everything they are suppose to do. They have been there for me and worked around my schedule. They need to have the caregivers come with more of a plan when they show up. This last caregiver and another one I had before have taken quite a bit of time to learn what I need to have done. They've made my life easier by helping me get a shower and not fall. I would tell a friend that my caregiver is very good and doesn't push me.
